Ruth was a very loyal and devoted daughter-in-law. She clung to her mother-in-law even after her husband died, and despite being urged to return to her parents. Her faithfulness became a great blessing, not only to her, but to her descendants, who became kings of Israel. What do we cling to in our lives? Are we staying loyal to God, to our families, and in our work - even when there’s no visible benefit to us? We must examine ourselves and ensure that we are being loyal and faithful.
Matthew 25:23 says, “You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities. Let’s celebrate together!”
